Album Details
– Inspiration: The album is a deeply personal tribute dedicated to Kidjo’s late mother, Yvonne, who passed away five years ago. Kidjo has shared that the project has been five years in the making, reflecting the message of hope she received from her mother.
– Tracklist: The project is expected to feature between 14 and 16 tracks, blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary international sounds.
– Theme: Kidjo describes the album as a response to a world “losing hope at such a rapid pace,” aiming to show through her music that “anything and everything is possible” when we remain connected.
This album follows her 2021 Grammy-winning project, Mother Nature, and continues her legacy of bridging cultures through music.
